Contemporary Associates (abbreviated as CONTAST) is a group of companies, operating in the fields of Consultancy, Contracting & Manufacturing. The business was established in 2002 under the esteemed leadership of Dr Naveed Ul Haq. Various companies working under the umbrella of the group are registered from time to time as per operational requirements of the business.
Contemporary Associates (a consultancy company under the group) is an international consultancy firm, working in the fields of Urban Planning, Design, Environmental Management and Projects Development. The firm was established in 2010 and since then, it has carried out numerous projects successfully related to afore-stated fields. The firm is registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) in category A-4 and P-1. The firm got registration with SECP in 2022. The firm is also registered with PEC. The firm is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified.
As per PCATP Ordinance 1983, the firm provides services of carrying out different types of surveys, drafting of feasibility report, conceptual proposals, scheme designing at different levels, detail designing of housing schemes, industrial estates and Action Area Plans. The firm holds expertise in designing infrastructure services, demarcation, preparation of BoQs, Tender actions and works awards, project supervision and completion.
In field of Environmental Management, services for SEA, ESIA, IEE, EMMP Studies, Environmental Audit, Environmental Monitoring, Occupational Health, Safety & Environment, Ecological & Carbon Footprint, VERA, Clean Development Mechanism and Gold Standards for Global Goals are provided.
Bankable Feasibility studies of developmental projects including feasibilities under Public Private Partnership (PPP) are prepared. Economic analysis and cost benefit analysis are also conducted. Financial and Business models are developed. Socio-economic and gender studies have also been carried out.
The group has not only established its own projects in the field of Development but also provides the services of EPC and owner’s engineer.
The group is led by Dr. Naveed Ul Haq, who is PhD and holds insight knowledge about urban planning and its co-relation with environment. The teams (Consultant, Contractor are Manufacturer teams) are comprised of highly qualified professionals with ample experience in their respective fields. The team works in strict accordance with international consulting standards. The team capacity is augmented whenever required by hiring leading field specialists while customizing each project team.
